SEACRET Network Marketing

You probably have an image firmly planted in your mind of what network marketing (also known as direct sales or multilevel marketing) is all about–housewives buying and selling Tupperware while gossiping and eating finger sandwiches, or a high-pressure salesperson trying to convince you how easily you can become a millionaire if only you and your friends and their friends and so on would buy and sell vitamins with him.

This is all I knew of the industry until I started a hobby that I thought would be a lot of fun but turned into a career. I knew nothing about network marketing but was looking for something different in my life. I always wanted to get into sales but no one would hire me with my experience that would amount to what I made teaching, it was always take a pay cut to get into something that interested me. When I was first introduced to SEACRET, I was immediately drawn in as I had wanted to get into selling and health and beauty was something I was interested in. I thought why not give it a try to make a few extra dollars on the side for family holidays and those extras we always wanted. Well within a few months, I realized with some hard work, SEACRET was the vehicle I needed as I was making more than I ever expected in the first few months with only sharing it with the people I knew. The more I looked into it and understood how popular the product was, I realized that the with some hard work, I could grow this from a hobby to a full time job. Within a year, I was able to replace my full time job income as a teacher and replace it with network marketing as my full time job. I realized Network Marketing is neither a hobby nor a get-rich-scheme but an opportunity for you to earn money running your own part- or full-time business. It is what you want out of it and the amount of work you are willing to put into it to make your dreams a reality.

But what does it take to succeed in this industry?

Choose wisely. There are six key elements you should be looking for [when selecting an opportunity]. Number one: stability. How old is the company? This is what drew me to SEACRET, they were already successful in the retail industry, why would they even look at network marketing.

Number two is excellent products or services that consumers will use and need more of. You always need Skincare and I am always ordering from my friends, why don’t I make some money!!

Number three is the pay plan–how even and fair and generous overall is the distribution? SEACRET give more back to its agents as Agents drive the business. With the new changes to our plan, It will be hard to find a company that gives back and is financially set for the future.

Number four is the integrity of the company and the management. I never realized how important this was until I met the Ben Shabat family, they truly are leaders and are lifted in seeing success in others. Number five is momentum and timing. Look at where the company’s at, what’s going on with the company, and if it’s growing. I truly believe that the best five years of SEACRET are starting now, people are hearing about us and asking what we are about. I remember when I started, no one knew of SEACRET but all remembered the people in the mall they bought the product from for twice as much. We have over 40 more countries to open and I am so excited what the future will bring.

Taking care of business. This is a business, and just like if you were running a franchise or a storefront, if you want to be successful, you need to treat it as such. You need to invest time, money and yourself to make it successful. The amount you invest is up to you and how much return you want to gain from your business. This is not easy but all relies on what you want and what your goals are. If you want to make a few extra dollars or replace your full time income, it is up to you.
